Fikst Product Development

Mechanical Design Co-op Jan - June 2022 Fikst Product Development is a mechanical engineering consultancy firm in Woburn, MA, with capabilities including product innovation, design evaluation, design for manufacturing, fluidics design, and electronics prototyping. My main project at this co-op was the design and manufacturing of a microfluidic chip, while I was also involved in the creation of a heat sealer for a different client, as highlighted below. I gained many skills and knowledge in the product development cycle, rapid prototyping methods including 3D-printing, laser-cutting, and CNC milling, improved CAD practices, and client relations.
