In 2024, I graduated from Northeastern University in Boston, MA. I grew up all over the US, but landed in the Washington, D.C. area, where I went to high school. I also spent time in my childhood in Seattle, New York City, Shanghai, Boulder, Cape Cod, and Braintree, Mass!
For fun I like to read, cook, and travel (on a budget)! I have a passion for seeing the world and experiencing new cultures.
Cultural agility is a skill I hope to continue building for the rest of my life. I believe everyone should make an effort to understand people and cultures different from their own, no matter how small the effort. Whether it's taking weekend trips somewhere new, being open to trying new foods, learning a few words of a new language, I believe it makes us more open-minded people. It teaches us how to work in diverse groups, and the benefits of doing such. In engineering, diverse groups bring diverse thinking, which brings more creative solutions!
